Certified by the American Board of Surgery and the American Board of Plastic Surgery, Dr. T. Y. Steven Ip finished his pre-medical studies along with obtaining an Engineering degree from UCLA. He completed medical school at the University of Texas. He followed this with 5 years of surgical training, which culminated in serving as Chief Resident in General Surgery at Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons, St. Lukes / Roosevelt Hospital in New York City.
Dr. Ip specialized his training to Aesthetic, Plastic, and Reconstructive Surgery by spending 3 years at prestigious Duke University, where he also served as chief resident.
